I have been a full time professional artist for over 30 years and paint in both oils and watercolour. Living in the Cotswolds I get my inspiration from the countryside around me as well as images from my home and garden. I also enjoy painting still life. The effect of light is what I always try to capture in my work. I like to paint directly from the subject where possible with each painting being a new challenge, telling a new story, interpreting colour and creating atmosphere.
